FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Servers (physical and virtual), workstations, Microsoft 365 (mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams), Google Workspace, databases, ERP systems, and SaaS apps. We back up application data, not just file shares.

Standard schedules run daily incrementals plus weekly fulls; mission-critical systems run hourly snapshots with point-in-time recovery. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace are protected with continuous backup throughout the day.

We use a 3-2-1 strategy: at least 3 copies, on 2 different media, with 1 off-site. Off-site storage uses encrypted cloud (Hornetsecurity, Backblaze B2, AWS S3) hosted in regions appropriate to your data-residency policy.

File-level restores complete in minutes. Full server image restores typically take 1–4 hours depending on volume size; we offer tested DR runbooks with RTOs from 15 minutes (warm standby) to 24 hours (cold restore).

We run automated daily verification, monthly random-sample restores, and quarterly full DR drills with the client — because untested backups are a liability, not a safety net.
